In Spring we gather on our land with our friends for the annual orange blossom (neroli) harvest. Together we dive into the enchanting experience of shaking and tickling the fragrant flowers off their branches. Each tree produces a vast amount of blossoms and for our Arteasan tisanes and cordials we take only the flowers that would otherwise be lost in windfall, leaving the rest for the bees and to ripen into fruit.
Out in the wild we take tender care to harvest our herbs keeping the surrounding eco-system intact. We only collect a few sprigs, leaving each plant in its strength and splendour. Therefore we only produce small batches for the majority of our blends. Harvesting with the moon calendar and adapting to seasonal flowering cycles we attempt to preserve and distill the unique aroma and property of each plant at its most vibrant point.
